DebConf5

Introduction

DebConf5 is the main annual Debian conference. Year 2005 it was held in Espoo. More information about it can be found on its website.

Linux-Aktivaattori’s involvement

Linux-Aktivaattori acted as the legal representative of the conference. This means there was a bank-account available for the conference, we sent out formal invitation for those needing one for visa application or such.

Besides these several of our members were involved in the organisation of DebConf5. They helped with the website, researching prices for t-shirts, food etc.

With this kind of partcipation from us and many others, it become a very successful Debian conference.
